When I was trying to play a game (Minecraft), I repeatedly got the Nvidia OpenGL Error 8. After searching on google, I found a solution that said to go to device manager, go to update driver software for the graphics card, and update to the newest driver. After doing this, my computer prompted me to restart, which I did, It brought me to the login screen, and after entering in my password, it took a much longer time to process, and then showed a black screen with my cursor and several hardware monitors that I had as startup programs. I tried fixing it by opening task manager and manually adding a new task explorer.exe, but it didn't work.

Actually, nevermind, I uninstalled the driver, and downloaded the nvidia driver, however it says that it cannot continue.

Update: I managed to install a new driver by removing with DDU, however the problem persists.

unknown the intel onboard ipgpu will be turned off in the bios unless muilt monitor is turned on. check your mb bios rev see if there any updates. a few asus mb had bios bugs with nvidia gpu. also try installing the newest intel chipset driers and also power off the pc and check that the gpu locked in and the power cables are locked in. also make sure your video cable on the gpu not the mb.

I installed the drivers, went to the bios, turned on the igpu, and made it the primary display, and plugged the displayport wire into the mb, however the problem still persists.
