Question After using streched res my hz went from 144 to 120 and i cant change it

So recently i simply i began to use streched res in games, shortly after i realised that my hz capped to 120 and i cant do anything about it, i tried everything to fix it but there is simply no solution for this problem (AMD user) PLS help

What monitor and how is it connected?
What gpu?
What is the native resolution of the monitor and what resolution are you using instead?
Which HDMI or Display port version are the monitor and gpu?

have you tried custom resolution utilty? if not maybe use normal resolutions. I was having this issue when I was using a hdmi gpu instead of a displayport one.
