120hz monitors are nice but very expensive. a good 60hz led monitor will do the job- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236175 the new VS series from asus are very good monitors not too many reviews on them though still searching though. 2ms response times LED, full HD and very well priced. if you want to go higher end though here is a very good option- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236123 .

I forgot to mention when going to a tri monitor setup you will need a display port adapter (the 25" asus i listed does have a DP) if you dont get a monitor with a display port already- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999030

so wait! so in order for me to have a tri monitor setup through Eyefinity i have to buy a separate adapter? can anybody give me a link on how to proper setup eyefinity and what adapter i have to buy.

so you use the 2 dvi ports on the card and the one mini dp port on the card. most cards come with an adapter from mini dp to dp. from there the adapter i listed plugs into the dp and you would have your dvi cable from there to the monitor. here is a good video- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrHYKF16_1Q

-You can add another 7970 for AMD Crossfire
-This build i suggest involves MSI Products. [MSI is a good brand also]
