Hey all,

Sorry if the title is a little convoluted.

I'm having an issue where with the Adrenalin drivers installed software like MSI Afterburner stop working (all options greyed out and doesn't show driver version) and monitoring software like hwmonitor or benchmark programs like 3DMark can't read my GPU clock speeds.

I have tried some basic steps (DDU, beta driver from techpowerup (25.1.1), disabling adrenalin's monitoring software, rolling back to an older driver etc.) but it simply won't work, no matter what I do.

Does this mean my GPU is broken? I feel like it isn't since the Windows drivers work but I can't explain why the aforementioned software won't work with the proper adrenalin driver installed.

I've asked a friend with the same GPU (from a different manufacturer, I believe ASRock) And he's having no issues using afterburner, 3DMark etc with adrenalin 24.12.1

I've uploaded an image here from gpu-z with the windows drivers installed. I think it's important to mention that with these drivers I can't use adrenalin.

Any help in fixing this is very much appreciated!

Just for good measure, use DDU in Safe Mode to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, Nvidia and AMD), then manually install the latest driver sourced from AMD's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Since you state having a friend, drop your GPU into his system and see if the issue persists. If it does, then the problem is hardware = your GPU. If the issue is non-existent, then it's your platform/OS.
