afterburner not saving profiles

has anyone had any issues with the latest afterburner not saving any profiles. it comes up settings saved when i cick on a profile number, but when i hover the mouse over the profile it still says empty.

I have just downloaded the latest stable version of afterburner, the only issue I am having is when I try to save a profile nothing happens. it flashes, says profile saved, but when I hover over the profile slot it just says empty.

any ideas?
