I have an old 440BX board that supports AGP Turbo.
I am assuming that this is AGP 2x.
What is the best video card for this system?

I was considering getting a TNT2 cheap but they are AGP 4x
Am I wasting the bandwidth? Are they even compatible?

The rest includes:
P3 - 650 @ 728 MHz
128Mb
Creative Riva TNT 16Mb

Any help is appreciated!

I don't know about the turbo being 2x or not. I do know, however, that the tnt runs at 2x as well as 4x, and many can run at 1x also.

there is no visable diff between 2X and 4X despite the 4X hype, unless you are running a gighertz with gforce2gts,

a good upgrade would be a gforce2mx for you its about 90$

alot better than tnt2ultra too

True. Geforce2mx is the way to go, or a geforce1ddr- Anhialator pro- the price just went way down to mx range and performance is the arguably the same or better than mx cards.

actually, you would tell a huge differnece on the new generation gpus, which require a large amount of memory bandwidth to be transmitted to the processor, and the nv20 might even make use of agp8x when it comes out

also, with newer effects with the t$l engine and fsaa, you are gonna need everything you can get, agp2x wouldnt support fsaa, not by a long shot
