Hello,
I have old video card, but I can't tell if it's AGp 4x or maybe even 2x? It has a passive heat sink. The connector has 3 sections. 24pin, 8pin, 20pin. I want to put it in a AGP8x slot. Can someone help?
24-pin, 8-pin, 20-pin, would imply that it's keyed for both AGP2x and AGP4x slots. Unless it's one of the junk cards that didn't set the voltage down correctly, you should be fine.

Crashman, maybe you can help me. Why doesn't my Visiontek GeForce2 Ti run on my Asus A7N8X. It says right on the box, AGP 4X. It runs great in my Compaq, but not in my rig. It won't reconize it, and I get a blank screen.

Maybe it's one of those rare AGP4x cards that wasn't properly made to use 1.5v signals. A few of these existed but I can't remember what brands/models (a website had a list a couple years ago).
