Hello! Im planning in replacing my Deepcool gammax gt air cooler to either a deepcool L240 or an ID-cooling Chromaflow 240 AIO I have an i7-8700. I know i dont need to concern on cooling when my cpu is not overclockable, but i live in a hot country and im getting temps 40-45 degrees celcius idle average and 60-65 gaming on ultra settings average and spiking 70-73 occasionally. I want to somehow lower the temps and i already exhausted numerous ways in improving airflow. I already got 7 120mm case fans (6 intake, 1 exhaust). This CPU cooler is my last attempt in lowering my temps. Which would be better of the 2? Deepcool L240 or ID-Cooling Chormaflow 240? Thanks

I definitely understand the electric bill about 250usd for me in the summer and the bedroom are still hot.
Which 1 is totally you and your wallet.
I have 3 corsair aio's on 2 of them i have replaced the stock fans and put noctua 3000 rpm high cfm fans on.
When it's hot i move as much air as i can through the radiator's.
Idk about the deepcools but corsair does have software to allow monitoring and changes on the fly.
Fractual design has 2 expandable
Aio's.
If i have to replace 1 of my cooloers out of warranty the i thinking of giving on of the a try
Possibly adding a 2nd rad fans and reservoir if i can reuse the radiator from the old cooler.
Good luck.
Those temps are perfectly fine, you dont need to lower them at all.
On a side note, you have far too much intake and not enough exhaust.

Depending on your case you should have 2-3 intake and 2-3 exhaust. 7 fans is honestly a waste. 3 intake and 2 exhaust is good enough for most systems.

Strangely, this fan placement configuration (6 intake, 1 exhaust) got me the best temps. I already tried all other configurations and my idle temps go 45-50. (inlcuding balancing out 4 intake- 3 exhaust, 5 intake- 2 exhaust, 4 exhaust- 3 intake, 3 intake- 1 exhaust etc)

I went for more intakes because my front intakes dont get that full draw, there's only a narrow passage in both sides of the case (tecware vision)

Yeah, unfortunately, i dont want more expenses at the end of each month by buying air conditioning. My GPU temps were fine 60 degrees and lower when gaming ultra settings Some people stated that my current air cooler (Deepcool gammax GT) is just a few points above the stock cooler, so i thought getting an AIO would be of benefit to me. Even if it only gets me at least 5 degrees lower temp, im willing to get one. The problem is, which one.
