Alexa won't stay connected to internet

Amazon echo alexa won't stay connected to internet. After resetting the router and modem and the Echo device, it will connect but only for a few hours. I spoke with both amazon tech and isp tech support. The end result was to open up 7 ports. Again, initially it connected to the internet only to be off again in the am. What next, return?

Hm, if you've tried all these steps for troubleshooting the Echo won't stay connected to the internet. Yeah, you can return your Echo Device if under return policy. Maybe its defected device or internally chip-level faults. Do as soon as possible...
