Stunning? nope. Design language is as silly [and ugly] as every "gaming" laptop in the market. I'll take a ThinkPad design over any other.

I find the new design really ugly. I really prefer the 2015 design, it was way cleaner and elegant. You could even use in more professional situations. Agree with the ThinkPad design (the latest are pretty good), but also are pretty good XPS and MacBook designs.
