[SOLVED] Alienware M15 r2 turned off and will not turn back on ?

My Alienware m15 r2 turned off suddenly today and it won’t turn back on. I’ve tried to press the power button with it unplugged, plugged in, and even with the internal battery disconnected. When I plug it into the wall, the AC adapter light stays on and the Alienware power logo turns on and changes colors as if it is charging normally, yet the computer itself will not turn on.

Maybe a bad BIOS? I’ve heard that removing the CMOS [battery] could be a fix.

Try to remove the CMOS battery to reset but I doubt the bios just failed and if it did I assume it would be the onboard chip itself failing.
