Alienware x51 owners!!

Hi guys, does anyone own an alienware x51, the one with the i3 cpu & geforce gtx 645 gpu? I really want to buy one, I only really play World of Warcraft & League of Legends, would this PC play them at high graphics?

I don't actually play LoL or WoW, but just looking at the specs, yes, it should run them maxed easily.

You can build a better PC for less money.

You might not be able to fully max WoW at 1080p but LoL is VERY easy to max. My laptop with integrated GPU can max it.

Also I would NEVER recommend buying an Alienware. VERY overpriced, terrible customer service, poor quality parts, no upgrade paths.

Well, put it this way: Alienware makes really amazing gaming laptops, but their gaming desktops suck. Firstly, lack of custom parts (which they don't update, last I checked the max you could go was a GTX 690 for an Aurora. Surely, they could consider up to 4-way SLI systems and Nvidia's whole refreshed line of graphics cards?) I'd say, go for Origin PC or Falcon Northwest, they're good.

Even with Origin or Falcon Northwest, you will still be overpaying by ALOT.

True, but they have a large wider custom stock to choose from. Alienware's stock is very limited, they're more focused on laptop gaming, whereas companies like Origin focus more on desktops and boutique PC building. Just look at the Alienware 18, you probably won't find many laptops that compare to it on the market.

Yeah, Digital Storm's good. Their flagship desktops also have a high degree of customization. The Virtue is one you're looking for.

Btw, OP, if you want to play WoW at max settings you could do that just fine on your current setup, MMORPGs aren't graphics intensive at all.
