Odd problem so here goes:
Edge Brave Crome And waterfox. All download at between 6 - 13 MBper second. I have a 900Mbit connection.
ookla speed test through browsers can max the speed.
lan speed tests get about 600 Mbit on a gigabit cable tested with software to ssd internal Lan.
surface Pro with windows 10 edge , managed to download a 1 gig file in 9 seconds , where as Desktop Pcs are taking 3 - 6 minutes.
Something is throttling local browsers. my cables are good cat6 i have an Asus router. RT88U.
what makes the surface Pro so fast and windows 10 on Desktops So slow.
my hard drives are 4000MB/s western Digital Black,
i have 36 core intel extreme edition.
i even cloned regiserty settings from the surface pro from /current User/Software/Microsoft/Edge and Internet explorer/ in case there was some legacy registry problem. then rebooted , and still edge brave chrome are slow.
its not cables
its not drivers.
wifi 5 on one pc is the same.
its not the webites in general because the surface pro is fast on same test site. Unigine Benchmark Superospostion 1246MB file.
I turned off baground Apps, made no difference even a Micosoft remote assistance did not know what it was and tried to blame third party websites.
Anti Virus and firewall software is the same on surface pro and on desktops.
I am out of ideas is there is a Microsoft Certified Eyestems Engineer that knows the problem please reply
(pc i done Tech support for 10 years ) and all online sources blame isp issues or cables or resetting network settigns which does nothing)
