Question Alternative motherboard

The motherboard on dell inspiron 620s is completely down after a bios update, the technician says it can't be repaired and the motherboard has to be replaced. What's the alternative for this motherboard?

How old is your Inspiron 620s? If the PSU on it hasn't been changed then you should look at a new entry level build. Specs of it on Google tells me that the build has a second gen processor on it. You could source the same board for the build from Aliexpress but I'm certain that your prebuilt is already compromised due to a faulty/failing PSU.

Thanks for the response.
It has got a i3 Intel processor and it's 2012 model, bios updated from Dell official website resulted in chronic damage. Enough components aren't available to repair it and the mobo has to replaced. the processor is fine. Can an alternative mobo of some other brand or manufacturer be replaced?
