AM3 ready mobo

I want to get a new AM2+ mobo for upgrading. Saw something like AM3 ready notification. I know if you install a AM2+CPU in a AM2mobo the systembus will be downgraded.
I know the DDR3 is not supported in a AM2+mobo, are there outher limitations using a AM3CPU in a AM2+mobo???

No, but you should consider just getting a DDR3 AM3 board. The switch is on to DDR3, and prices will keep dropping while DDR2 rises.
