I hear quite often that upgrading your motherboard is a daunting task. When changing the motherboard a lot of software will require a new key so to speak.
I recently purchased a Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 motherboard to upgrade to from my old and quirky MSI 785GM-P45, and I would like to do so without doing a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit(there is a slight chance I am not using a legitimate copy...heh).
The motherboard is the only component I will be upgrading. So tell me, is this at all achievable?
