Guys I need some help, I've acquired a pc that needs some upgrades, I think it manly needs a new graphic card. It currently has a AMD Radeon HD 7870 XT 2G GDDR5, processor is Intel core i5-2500k @ 3.30ghz.

I have no idea how to post pictures on to here so if anymore info needed let me know.

Thanks

Solution
I'll just be happy getting a fair fps for something like csgo for now I just don't know where to start like eventually I would like to get somewhere close to 60fps on games like apex legends or call of duty but I'm far from that stage. Thanks for any info you could provide.

that's the picture of my psu and I ran a quick benchmark test the url is https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/50300043
Ok, we've got some issues here.

That's a very old PSU which was garbage even when it was new. It needs to be replaced sooner rather than later and if you do plan to buy another GPU, certainly BEFORE or at least at the same time with the GPU...

Tier B or above for gaming rigs.

From the userbenchmark I can see CPU not boosting to advertised clocks. It might be thermal throttling, especially if the thermal paste was never renewed all these years. Check temps idle and while gaming.

The GPU can be performing worse due to the CPU issue, the ram or also having thermal issues. Check temps also.

It's better if you run 2 or 4 sticks of ram. With 3 you lose the dual channel which does help increasing performance. It might be better if you bought another exact same stick of ram.

Since you have high background CPU usage, it's better if you restart PC, leave it alone for 5 mins and then run userbenchmark again with everything else closed. Post the link again please.

You still have not said anything about resolution. I can see that you are running 4K though and it's gonna be VERY difficult to achieve 60fps with this PC at 4K.
To be honest it's a PC that I wouldn't personally have bought or even try to upgrade since it's not really worth it, except if it was dirty cheap.
