AMD 8000 series release?

Any news on when AMD will release their desktop 8000 series graphics cards? A quick google search gives mixed results. AMD was supposed to release in early Q1, around January, but it seems it may have been pushed back.

I didn't want to throw down any money on the 7000s series now because they will likely drop in price when the 8000 series come out.

afaik, latest rumored launch is in q2 2013, for desktop cards. could change any time without notice.
