Amd 8350 8 core overheating

Had a corsair h60 on it. Suddenly started over heating so I figured it was the cooler. Bought an h110 and put it in, still overheating so fast I can't get to desktop to open core temp to check it.

I cleared cmos and changed the thermal paste, no luck.

AMD 8350 8 core
Windows 7 64 bit
Asrock 970 extreme mobo
Corsair 1050w psu

Is my chip bad? It's never been over clocked and it's barely a year old

If you have an extra am3+ processor, try to see what happens when you use it so you can see if it is your fx 8350 or the motherboard. does the chip still have warranty?

Don't have an extra processor and it is past a year so I assume it can't be rma'd :-/
I'm on phone so it's painful to look things up with this slow ass Internet. ..did I hear amd is shutting Down operations? So should I be looking at Intel for my replacement? With new mobo of course

processors normally have 3 year warranties you should be able to rma it.

So I bought a new mobo and cpu, still overheats. Something is wrong. Psu is fine, new cpu, new mobo, new cooler. Still overheating before the desktop can finish loading

That's unusual. Is your case open when tested it? Or you just managed to get another bad something.
