AMD 890FX chipset GFX option

Hey guys, I've been using an AMD Athlon X2 4800+ since June 2005. Planning to upgrade now. I'm looking at the Asus M4A89GTD-Pro mobo paired to the Phenom II X4 965BE. Is it advisable to go for an nVidia GTX560Ti or should I opt for an ATi Radeon HD 6850? Any other options welcome, including for a choice of motherboard. Intel is not an option. I am not on an unlimited budget and I am no longer a heavy gamer. I mostly use the computer for music, office, facebook and email, with Quake III / UT3 / NFS Hot Pursuit sessions about thrice a week..

How about waiting a little while for bulldozer to emerge. It will surely make the prices of components go down.
