Good Morning,
I'm hopeing someone can assist as I keep on hitting a brick wall with, what I think is, a simple question. With AMD Releasing the new Kavari CPU, I figured it was time to upgrade my computer. I picked up the A10-7850K with the ASUS A88X-PRO motherboard and G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB(2133) for my Ram. Everything booted fine but I want to game with this set-up and i'm having the hardest time trying to find the correct drivers for the graphics. I go to AMD.com and search for the APU and it pulls up Beta drivers only (http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMDCatalyst13-11APUBetaDriver.aspx). This driver is constantly rebooting because it fails and it's getting very annoying. Does anyone know where to get stable drivers? Thank you for any help provided!

Solution
Those are the only drivers available right now for the new Kavari APUs. You might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling them though. I just finished a Kavari build but did not experience any driver issues, even during demanding games like skyrim or battlefield.

No go on that front; i'm not sure if there is some sort of conflict but when I installed the beta driver set, my computer refused to load windows. Everything booted alright but it kept on the loading screen for a good 5 minutes before I restored to just before the driver update. I'm going to try and install the drivers one at a time instead of everything to see if I can pinpoint the issue. If someone has some insight in to this, thank you for any advise.

Hm that's odd. Can you see the errors in the windows event viewer?

Nothing that I can see. I've got the boot records at 12:31 which is after the System restore and the 12:22 before the system was restarted due to the driver install. Given that it's having a hard time loading windows, i'm thinking it probably had something to do with the Sata Controller Driver installed. Not sure why a Sata Controller Driver would install with a video card driver though...

AMD releases their drivers in a package and seeing as they make chipsets, that would include drivers like that.

It appears as though the quoting system on this forum is having issues, the first para of the last message should be in quotes.

This just occured to me but did you install the graphics drivers first? If so it may have installed beta drivers for your motherboard as well. When I did my Kavari build I installed the drivers from the manufacturer's website for the motherboard and then did a manual install with the graphics drivers. I don't like the express install option as it often add extra stuff that I don't need.

Thor220, thanks for your insight. I did install the computer chipsets first then the graphics driver. My computer has been running steady since doing the reinstall though and I did a custom install rather than express. This appears to resolved all of the issues. Thanks again!

Just thought I would let you know, they released the full drivers for Kavari today.
