AMD A10 7850K VS Intel core i5 4670K.

Which one is better? I do a lot of gaming and I am currently using a i3 so I want to upgrade to one of these. I have a dedicated GPU (AMD Radeon HD 7870) . So which one to choose? Which one will give me a better performance overall? And also suggest me a good motherboard under $130.

There is no comparison. The I5 4670K is FAR better from a CPU performance perspective.

i5 4670k, there is no comparison if there is discrete graphics involved. The i5 4670k is arguably the best gaming CPU and the per core performance crushes anything from AMD.

4670K is on a whole different level, really. There is no reason to buy APU ever if you have an up to date GPU

A nice gaming board would be either a Asrock Z87 Killer or MSI GD45 Z87 gaming motherboard. They both have nice gaming features like the e2200 killer ethernet and cool colours.

i agree.. MSI GD45 Z87 is the better of the previously mentionded better looking, a bit off your badget but worth the extra money!
