AMD A4-3300 APU with AMD Radeon HD 6410D

Hi all, newbie to Tomshardware here, don't know where to post this to be honest! So I will just ask here, I am looking for a decent pc for Moderate gaming and plenty of schoolwork, now as a college student I don't have as much money that is needed for a GREAT gaming and all around pc, I was looking into this http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.956680 I would like to know if it would be able to run some games! Skyrim, Minecraft, and Amnesia mostly!

Integrated graphics are usually poor choices for playing games unless you play on low resolution (1366x768) with a mix of low and medium graphic quality for good performance. I assume it would be fine for Minecraft and Amnesia. However, Skyrim....

At medium to high quality. Note the 5800K is coming within a month which will be faster for gaming.

I listed in order the CPU, the motherboard with the right chipset to fit the CPU (FM1 socket), decent RAM, and a case. Those are the guts of your PC. Your local PC store should be able to build it for you for a fee if you don't want to. Add a PSU (I recommend the Corsair CX 430 v2) and a hard drive + optical drive.

EDIT: Price is around $400-450, just shop around.

You can also look at last quarters SBM where they use a lower end CPU.

I wouldn't use a Pentium in a day to day all round build. Bottom line, too slow.

The graphic core in Llano APUs (AMD's "A" series) can be Crossfired with a Radeon HD 6xxx series graphic card up to the Radeon HD 6670. Anything faster than that or any Radeon HD card of a different series, or any nVidia card will automatically disable the integrated graphic core.

Crossfire will help boost the performance bit. I am guessing that if you install a Radeon HD 6670 in the PC and graphic drivers recognizes the card, then the combined performance will probably be equal to a Radeon HD 6750; more or less.

I just looked up the 500 build, looks pretty decent to me! I would need some help putting it together though because I'm pretty much lost as of now

How do you think this would withstand gaming?

I've built quite a few computers with the Celeron G530 in it, and I even have one now with that same 6670 GDDR5. It plays all the games I want to at pretty high settings. Given my resolution is only 1440x900. I also haven't tried any high end games. I have tried Skyrim though, and it ran fine at medium settings.

This is about as cheap as a gaming rig can go, and this is a pretty darn good one. You can also upgrade the GPU in the future if you so please.
