I have had both through the years including today, and granted, Netburst was an oven which I avoided thanks to AMD, but generally, I have experienced higher overclocks and greater system stability with intel than my AMD systems, and I rarely skimp on components...
Many people confuse true overclocking (that is measured in percentage) with the MHz they OC; Core2 now is the king of that too, but in the past, people used to send a Pentium4/D to 4.0GHz and considered it an incredible OC while seldom being impressed by a 2.8GHz X2/A64, even if the OC of the latter was better; 200MHz OC of an Athlon are still better than 300MHz OC of a Pentium4/D.
And as for system stability, I don't think AMD has been that far fron Intel since the K8 was out.

let's not forget that most inestability was caused by terrible VIA Chipsets when at tha ttime, these were of the very few solutions in mobo chipsets for AMD...

And secondly, you either have wayyyyy to much time on your hands, hope some AMD staff member is going to notice you and give you a coaster for brown nosing their brand

I assume by "coaster" you mean Athlon X2, because that's just about all they're good for nowadays. :lol:just kidding but i like aggravating amd fanboys

and you guys still say you didnt come here to flamewar?
jesus.....

I seriusly dont want to see what you guys do thats called "flamewar"...

/uses best Tim Allen impersonation

MR.T Pities the fools!!!

viper: Good examples, also remember the exorbitant prices AMD used to charge for it's FX series processors because they didn't have competition.

urgh???
didnt Intel have the same prices in their Pentium 4 EE?
common :|
I remember they all were around the 1299 mark and 1099 mark..

I know I am right about AMD being superior

egads, this guy sounds like sharikou 😵

I know I am right about AMD being superior
yep, and everyone knows they're right about you're just a AMD trolling fanboy

Wow, you know it's bad when AMD supporters are slamming on this goon going on about AMD.

If by fairly popular you mean infamous, you're probably right.

Stick around if you want. You make for an easy target. We could use another fanboy punching bag; Baron is getting worn out, Dragonsprayer converted, 9 inch and MMM pushed the envelope and got banned, and Ycon doesn't post enough for daily flaming.

I think I see the problem the AMD 38000+ has a TDP of 1250 watts and pulls 300 amps. But I bet its fast.

Sorry for this smart guy post.

Feels like Deja Vu...

Round and round in circles all the fricken time...

Obviously these AMD fantwats cant handle the truth that their company has done short jerky movements in the upward region big time...

On top of it all there has been unaceptable votings going on, stupid AMDzone posts advertising this site which the purpetrators have obviously got some sort of issues which are extended from a child hood incident after having their fingers trapped in a socket 478 fan....

Grow up and ask mummy to get the doctor...
