Thats equal to a 1st gen i7 or 2nd gen i5. There might be a slight bottleneck, but not a significant one.

not terribly unbalanced, overclocking the athlon will help though

Currently using the 860k. It's honestly going to bottleneck it quite a bit, and studies have shown that overclocking on this particular CPU, as far as games go, accomplishes little to nothing. If you're playing GPU intense games, you'll be fine. If you're trying to play arma, rest in peace bro.

The term bottleneck is 'relative' to different games.
I'd say an 860k & a 1050ti are a good pairing to be honest.
Budget gaming CPU/budget gaming GPU - nothing wrong with that as long as you don't expect 60fps+ all the time.

Yes, actually it will vary from game to game, but should be fine on lower settings overall.
