Amd athlon ii x4 645 running at 2.2ghz

Just finished building my first computer. My question is I have an AMD Athlon II x 4 645. Windows 7 says it is running at 2.2 when I go to computer and click properties and it gives a description of my computer.


AMD Athlon II x 4 645 processor.

MSI 760GM-P23 FX motherboard

4 Gigs DDR3 G.Skill ram

Windows 7 Home Premium.

Amd cool and quiet, it is a feature that downclocks your processor when you are not doing anything. It saves power!
