As the title says, Im trying to install AMD Catalyst and it keeps stopping at this point http://imgur.com/Cc0r1kH

I've tried stopping and starting again, re-downloading it, and installing to a different drive. Not sure what else to do.

Any help is much appreciated, thanks.

If you're absolutely sure you're running it as an administrator, look for Display Driver Uninstaller on Guru3D.com.

Follow the given instructions and completely remove any trace of your drivers or anything related to them. Re-download the omega driver catalyst package afterwards and reinstall it.

Something with the old drivers might be interfering with the installation of the new ones.
Is that a desktop or a laptop? Laptop manufacturers sometimes lock out driver updates on the latter, while desktops don't have such an issue. I don't see the battery icon on the lower right corner, so it shouldn't be one, but I can't know for sure...

If it's a laptop, you need to look for driver updates on the manufacturer's website, which will either let you download the right files off their site or point you to the official AMD/Nvidia website.

Also, are you running the update executable with admin rights?

Yeah it's a desktop. And as far as I can see, this software is all that i'm given when I got to the AMD site for drivers... My drivers seem to be up to date, but the software allows me to fix the underscanning. I have completely removed it and started again and it just gets to the same point and stops again
