[SOLVED] AMD CPU better than the Ryzen 5 3600

I think it's worth it if you're going to be using the stock cooler in each situation. The 3600X comes with a better stock cooler, and you're obviously getting slightly higher clock speeds.

If you're planning on using an aftermarket cooler regardless, the regular 3600 is where I'd be.

Honestly i have no idea what you are planning to do with your system but if you want to save money on a CPU the only option is a Ryzen 3 3100 and it is 4 cores 8 threads instead of 6 cores and 12 threads.

I use a older version of this cooler Arctic freezer 34 duo (mines the 33 esports one but same cooler just the 34 has a few updated features and slightly better fans ) This cooler in its Threadripper mount was known to keep the Threadripper under 75degrees under load I imagine the temps wouldnt get over 60 with an overclock , mine at stock clocks at the moment I havent seen my temps get over 54 and that was in aida 64 burn test

Really? ? I've never seen that cooler before, is it really that better? I see that it came out in 2015, the gammaxx gte v2 came out this year (as if it would change something lol) but i dont know 🤷‍♂️

Running a ryzen 7 on one and its never touched 60c even under stress testing so yes it's just way better.

Its been around awhile but now comes with an am4 bracket, rated for around 280w so it's going to handle a ryxen 5 with ease and silently too.

Its a massive offset heatsink block with an offset 140mm fan so sits lower (158mm) than most 120mm coolers and also has zero ram interference.

There is a newer rgb model but it's essentially the same cooler with an rgb fan and is not worth €30 more.
