"...more cores at lower prices" is one thing, but what I find most interesting is that in a few cases in the AMD product stack when more cores are added (or enabled) for a new SKU... the power consumption may stay the same while the performance increases.

It is not magic, but if that fact was put to best use for marketing, some extra magic might happen with sales of bigger SKUs.
