I can belive this, AMD has been going full throttle with the dual core concept and only make sense that the next FX chip will be dual core. I can only immagine the price tag associated with a dual core FX chip :(

Making another single core FX chip would just be a wast of time since most venice cores can do FX57 speeds on air, well at least the one Ive been messing with :D

i've heard these hit 3ghz with little to no effort on air.

Ha-ha-ha-ha air cooling at 110watts there isnt too much room to play with. Infact 95 watts for 2 2.4's, 110watts for 2.6's, 125watts for 2.8's, 140watts for 3.0's.

Thats if its linear either or for 1500 bucks you get a AMD power house that rivals Intel in heat output --cheers--.

Better than paying nearly the same for 3.2EE which puts out 130 watts @ stock and is not nearly as fast.

You obviously dont understand the diference in the way Amd and Intel decide on TDP.
Intel uses NEMA standards, i.e. 60% of rated load, with not more than 5% at 100%, or 80% of rated load,@ continious duty.
Using Intel's method for Amd would net about 80w, while using Amd's method for Intel wouldn't work, as the Intel chips would throttle, or melt.

I just like the way he put it because he essentially set up that X2's clock for clock are as hot as p4's but slaughter them performance-wise clock for clock
Jeremy is smarter than that so he either posted that high or is simply on a fishing trip to make AMD guys angry like meltdown. Either way i think everyone agrees that P-D's are a joke and intel cant get their next gen proc out fast enough.

Spuddy is a good guy. He's just hangin on, till intel is back in the driver's seat. Then he'll slap us all down hard. Should be a fun time, when it gets here. The way the fanboys are gathering, you'd think it was imenant.

Where did I say anything about buying anything Intel especially a EE?

Then we might as well start getting into copper resistance, air movement, bell curves and the whole nine yards. Point being the CPU in its el'grande puts out a fair bit of energy that’s all that was said just added my usual satire.

Same could be said about the Pentium M's vs. the Athlons but I don’t care I didn’t come to post about performance or how everyone’s views are different. I came here to poke fun at the heat output, why this has to turn into a gay AMD vs Intel debate is beyond me.

Why do people assume I care anymore? I don’t get it, I come here post some satire, argues with people and they think oh wow he’s back again. I'm blowing time before I have to go to work and I don’t have new music to listen to, don’t flatter yourselves guys I care less about hardware then you about your grass.

The only thing that interests me now is the politics of the industry but fan boys make it impossible to have a serious discussion about market shares, production quotas or anything else that interests me.

I agree hes a good guy but he was a complete ******* to me a while back so i like to push his buttons.

I might remind you Harlan you had a knack for pushing the buttons right back, but hey I expected you to make is appear it was a one sided deal. After all I am sooooooo jealous of your girlfriend and all your things.

You rub me the wrong way simply put, but thx to science anti depressants make me calm and not as easily anger by people that don’t think before they talk.
