DDU has been mentioned (display driver uninstaller) which works well but you will need to be in safe mode.

Easier method - uninstall catalyst manager in control panel and it will ask you if you want to remove the drivers too! Then shutdown, plug in your 750ti, move the monitor cable to the GPU and turn the pc on :)

Equivalent of the 750ti is the R7 260X (its a tiny bit slower in most situations)

Unfortunately the R7 260x/ r7 260 and r7 250X all require a 6 pin psu connector.

Post your PSU make and model - maybe it can handle an adaptor

At this price point a R7 260X is the equivilant. it gets a bit less fps in general then a 750 ti but in games like battlefield / crysis it gains a lead. I think one brand of r7 260x`s require no power connectors but are underclocked so they use less then 75w from the pci

I don't know why'd you'd be worried about drivers... If you're switching to Nvidia, it's as easy as uninstalling AMD drivers and installing GeForce ones with the new card. If you're really worried about it, you can use DDU

Well there is a risk behind that, 1. I'm not quite sure how to - I do know but.., 2. I have a A6 APU if i uninstall the drivers for the GPU wouldn't it affect the APU? <- I.e. Ik that it will switch to it if i don't put the other gpu

You will have this problem whether you stay with AMD or not - your new card will need new drivers :)

It will be fine, uninstalling the GPU drivers won't affect the CPU of your APU

Do you know any reliable GPU driver removers? Or don't i have to use them?

And from there go to the Nvidia site and download the correct driver for my new card?
