amd fx 6300 and r9 290x bottlenecks

i was thinking of upgrading my gpu from a gtx 760 to a r9 290x. i have seen forums say that a fx 6300 will bottleneck the r9 290. how big will the bottleneck be ? and would it be a good idea to get an i5 4670k.

An I5 4460/4590 with a b85 board will end up being only $230 and do about as good as the I5 4690k. Both are strong enough to easily support a r9 290x.
As for the fx 6300, it will bottleneck. Any amd cpu currently out will. It should still be playable but you could as well stay with the 760 gtx and not notice much difference.
