i had very bad performance with amd fx6300 together with radeon rx 460 but after setting cores manually in bios to all cores and setting ram timings manually the performance seems more normal. is it possible taht some bios cant set right ram speeds and voltage with auto?
should i really have to set this shouldnt the bios handle using all cores and set rigth ram settings?

the cpu seems to be running good now just curious why setting this manually made so big difference

Your BIOS may need an update. XMP is usually considered safe but make sure RAM voltage is also set properly. Most probably needs a bit higher voltage for higher speed. Those FX processors have native 1866MHz memory controller so RAM of that frequency should work without being considered OC.
Which MB do you have ?
Most BIOS versions automatically set everything to very conservative settings according to parts manufacturers recommendations and everything above would be considered overclocking. All they want to do is ensure compatibility. There's usually 2 settings, something like "Compatibility Default settings" and "Default Performance settings).
Personally I find them inadequate for performance and OC everything in sight. Most damaging to performance are Power saving options so they are first to be turned off along with Turbo mode. I recommend setting all to manual even if defaults are left on.

im using crucial 1600/1333 mhz now where the 1600 mhz is xmp could that be conciderd a overclock by the system and cause the instability ?after changing ram speed to 1333 mhz everthing is smooth very big difference or it was just setting Active cores manually that did the trick im not sure thats the two Changes i made. turbocore is off.
one funny thing is that i only see 4 Active cores in the bios though, in windows speccy and other programs shows 6 cores
