Amd fx 8 core overheating

Hello,
I recently started my new build (second one), and have been having some weird overheating issues.At first the comp was fine,but the set up needed me to instal a new bios so that I could run steam games, then just after that after a few mins of gaming and watching a movie on double screen, the comp freezes and needs to be restarted. Iv ran Furmark and a few other graphically intense testers to void out the vid card

Do you have an after market cooler like this?

Is the CPU running on a stock fan/heatsink or aftermarket fan/heatsink. Also is the CPU overclocked?
