Hello. I'am gonna buy a new gaming computer soon. I will buy r9 290X crossfire or r9 280x crossfire. Which CPU do you think will run BF4 best? FX 9370 or i5 4670k?

The price of i5 4670k and fx 9370 is the same. But do i7 4770k got 8 core?

it got 4 threads

The link you posted doesn't even include the last two generations of the intel line up, the 9370 is way overpriced and doesn't provide nearly the power that the i5 can put out for gaming. The assumption that any 8 core CPU will perform better than any 4 core CPU is completely false.

it will run better on any game that is optimized for 8 cores, this thou, doesnt state that it will run better than any 4 core cpu lol.

it included better cpu's than the i5 4670k.
the links that were postet before didnt even got the actual cpu in it

But then again I need to buy a better motherboard or even a more expensive. Since FX 9370 is already overclocked?

Yeah, I see. It's still only a few fps. And if I buy FX 8320 I can OC it at 4,5ghz and save over 200 dollars buy getting that instead of i7 4770k.

I will probably buy i7 4770k. But I still waiting on the price on r9 290x...

You have to buy a better motherboard anyway. FX 9370 is a high wattage CPU. Not many boards are certified to handle the FX 93xx chips.

An i5 4670k at 4.5ghz is about 10% faster then the fx8320 at 4.5ghz and will consume around 160w less electricity

impossible the 8320 is a 125 watt cpu.... and the intel a 95, so a 30 watt difference not 160w

and to be honoust, the diffrence in fps between a i7 and a 8320 is max 10-15, you can better go with a better graphics card for the $150 price diffrence

edit: the reoson why intel is winning in gaming benchmarks right now i because most games only take use of 2 or 4 cores, some newer titles start using 6, so the fx 8xxx and 9xxx will be more future proof for future games who start using 8-core technology. which can be the case in the very near future since both new-gen consoles have 8 core amd proccesors to...

yap, lol.
8-core will run way better on next gen games then even now, beating a i5 easiöy
