Go for something along these lines and you won't regret it.

Right now, I'd replace that Geforce 2070 with a Radeon 5700 XT - same power envelope, cheaper, more powerful in current games.
Also, I'd take some higher frequency RAM : 3200 MHz CL14 or 15 will rock a Zen+ or Zen2 chip a wee bit more.

Wait until August though? When the board partners start coming out with some quieter axial fan cooled versions.

That's when I'll get interested in looking for one.

For a Ryzen APU, you want the fastest ram possible. 2x8gb will be much faster than 1x16gb. You also want to get ram at 3000mhz or faster.

In apps? 15-20% performance loss with a single stick. In games when using the IGP ? Performance is almost halved.
I assume you are comparing kits with the same frequency and latency (because dual channel 2133 MHz isn't that much faster than single channel 3400 MHz otherwise)

I agree, the 2400G doesn't make much sense for anyone who is getting a dedicated graphics card and won't be using the integrated graphics, since the Ryzen 2600 offers 50% more cores and threads for about the same price.
