Question AMD NSIS Error - Error writing temporary file. Make sure your temp folder is valid.

GPU : AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB
Drivers : 22.5.1 (Downgraded because 22.5.2 doesn't have MSI Afterburner control)
Sometimes when browsing the internet, watching videos or playing games, my monitor just goes black and then a AMD error message pops up (NSIS Error) and AMD Wattman Settings error
I don't have a screenshot of the errors but it looks something like this (Not my screenshots)

First error seems to be an error associated with the installation of the GPU Drivers.
try running ddu in safe mode and reinstall same drivers - https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...n-install-of-your-video-card-drivers.2402269/
It seems second error is fixed by updating drivers.

After the release of 22.5.2 drivers, I downgraded to 22.5.1 by using ddu in safe mode as you said.
I did it 2-3 days ago but still this error message pops up

So its an error from the installer used by AMD for their drivers.

its rather strange that you get installer errors while just running a browser.
one cause seems to be a virus/malware so try running trial of this and see if it finds anything - https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us


could try downloading files again and try reinstalling them. I can see it can caused by corrupt install files. Curious, do you have an AMD system? Maybe another AMD driver is conflicting.

I have the same issue while playing fortnite it just freezes and showing this error "error writing temporary file make sure temp folder is valid". Image-
