Also whenever i try to run opencl gpu benchmark on cenebench11.5 i always get a error stating 'red dots.... Error... and bla... bla....' so how to deal with it?
Gpu is sapphire hd6770 850/1200mhz-quote

your HD 6770 should pass the OpenGl test easily
My HD 5770 (same GPU) does with no problem
do you have the latest drivers from AMD installed?
this is assuming you have Win7 64bit installed
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx
if other OS then backtrack and change

if you have the latest drivers then I dont understand why your HD 6770 can pass OpenGL match test
is your windows completely updated?

hee hee yeah I put that up for the screenshot
normally I have my ten yr old daughter and wifey using my computer
so cant have sexy chicks
but right now is okay

I just made 7 tests stable with 3.6ghz
need to up NB and HTT voltages and I think is will be stable
dont plan on using it as a regular OC but just want to see if is stable

I decided to see how far I could go with the low vcore. I had to cut my turbo from 3780 down to 3740-ish and live with a 2064 HT speed, (I wanted to stay as closer to 2000) but she's stable and peaks at 55C after 2 hrs of prime95.

I have also increased RAM to 16G. (RAM's so cheap now)

Now can I get on the list?

****EDIT****

Not stable with the low Vcore and hits 57C with a voltage bump. (although stable with the voltage bump)

Disregard this OC.

My Official stable OC is only 3.401 Ghz.

I do not think that overclocking the FX-Bulldozer chips should even count.
there should be a test on actual IPC statistics to see how much the FX isn't working...

lol im actually going to have to agree with this one

Hi all !!,
Yesterday casually, read things about posibilities of overclock amd :ouch: ..... and i think i must tried to do it too. :ange:

Well, information of my amd :

- Amd athlon 64 3200+ Venice
- Ram- 2g(1x1) ddr 400
- Ati radeon hd 4300/4500 series 1g
-Hard drive 200g sata

Well , you can see is a old pc :sarcastic:

Begining to overclock, I increse only mhz for a little, start at 205 ... until 235 , not need to give more voltage for anything, and run fine.

Then.....a lot of reboots when i trie to give more mhz than 235 ...
so i was working all the night to get to the top of overcload in my AMD , with voltages and frecuency of rams. :pt1cable:

For me max top i get is:

- 250 mhz (25% overclock),
tested stability for "super pi" = ok.
tested stability for "p95v" for 8h, ok too.

Information numbers , of my last "better" overclock.

Mhz 250 x 10
htt x4
ram at 133 mhz
vcore 1.65 max (in use reflect 1600v with oc)
Memory timmings 2-2-6-8 (begin in 3-3-3-8) :sol:

I show them one screenshot with all the information , and them can comment what do you think about my overclock and if someone knows a better overclock with my AMD 64 3200+
(now think is like, AMD 64 3800 ??.. )
Comment and say what do you think for my first time !!! :sarcastic:

thankss

Thanks for you answer king !! :)

Well, last night test prime95 for 7-8 hours and the max temperature was 55, with torture test mode  (i have other programs too, superpi, cpuz, sandralite to see all changes and core temp )

And during all this day i been playing different games for check stability and temperature (doom3,hal-life 2, lol, fall out 3..)

use normal (like now): temperature 40º-38º
in middle of games: temperature 46ª-50ª when finish in 2seconds low to 39-40º :sarcastic:

What you reffer about Vbat??...is not vcore no? low..?
its running at 1630-1648 V..and the top with risks is so near..1750 V and explote BUMMMMM hehehe ;)

Really i feel the difference in the speed of my amd,
in charge windows, playing or opening big archives....more fast, without any problem.

Whatever, i have the program "speed fan" always open, and with the alarm if i go to 60º...them the program put cpu to sleep, automatic .

I monotoriced the temperatures all time this days, ..sure.

when i was triying to beggining overclock i take a lot of information like this...maybe someone can use too

Well, this is all, friends .
Im very afraid at the begginning, but after two crazy days, im so happy now, and i learn something more sure.
Wish the image can help anyone else.

If someone think something more about my overclock i want to know, ok??
More opinions, more information to do better.... maybe (i think) this is the top for my amd.. or not. :p

ok .
I trie to find, the Vbat to my motherboard....google style (like all)

For the moment, last night i tested again for 11 hours, and this morning ,i see in pv95torturetest 0 warnings o problems.
Temperature in hard work more low :) max of 54.... and all the time bbeing in 50º. when finish fast down for 39º. so, i think that is a fine overclock.

I tell for us later, my mb Vbat ,if i localiced.

motherboard battery is a CR 2032 button or watch style battery about the size of a coin or US quarter located on the motherboard in a battery clip

looks similar to that
battery costs about $4 USD
remove with power plug out of computer
you will need to reset the BIOS settings after you replace the battery

lol
this battery i remove it a thousand time to reset bios to default mode XDDD, whe i was doing the overclok.

I am beeing watching the Vbat these two days and be fine all time at 4,08 v, so any problem.

Finally say that im very happy with the overclock, have more speed and i fell it on games, openings aplication.....orrrr everything :wahoo:
