is 2.44v for cpu vdda high? I've got a stable 4.05Ghz with the cpu voltage at 1.5v but when i run prime95 it pulls 1.55v according to hardware monitor, load line callibration is on auto and so is the vdda.
I know its normal for it to go up .02 if its needed but going up .05 of what i have it set in bios seems alot and from what i googled the vdda could be causing it?
 



I have load line calibration too and that is normal and 1.55v is reasonable safe as long as temps are good
dont go much over 61c and you are alright

I'm new to overclocking with AMDs so my voltages may be a bit off with what others normally have it at for a 4GHz overclock on this chip. Recently found out that these Deneb chips like cold temps so I had to pick up this cheap Rocketfish cooler to better cool this processor (was using a first-generation Athlon X2 era cooler on it!)

thinking I'm going to push for 4.2ish because I have the voltage Head room and temp head room. If the voltage regulation was better on this board I know I could get the voltage down at these settings but hey it was a budget build.

Edit: 2/13/13 all attempts to go higher just ended in instability. I believe I have reached the max that this cheap budget board has to offer. This overclock is my rock solid daily runner while keeping temps at a max of 44 while gaming during the summer (with fans on low). I have run these settings for over 1 year with no issues. The extreme low temps posted in my stability proof was attributed to having all case fans on high while stress testing (Antec 902 case). During my OC sessions I have found that this Board does not like a FSB over 240 (240 stable 241 crashes) and a max NB frequency of 2400. Anything over these settings make it become unstable no matter the voltage thrown at it. The system will post and run at 260 and 2600 but I can't seem to get it to be stable under stress. Maybe voltage regularity issues, maybe just cheep chips, either way the issue is with the board because with the RAM and CPU under clocked the system will still crash with those settings.

If you have any suggestions I will surely give them a try as long as I have not already tried it on my own.

Hopefully the tables will be updated soon now that someone else that may have the time can take care of them.

I ran prime95 for about a half hour. I'll post it when I get time to run it for 2 hours
 
multiplier is 24, reference clock aka bus speed aka fsb is 210.01 according to your cpu-z screenshot. So you would list 210.01*24 for ref*multi, just fyi this equals your cpu clock speed.

Northbridge freq. is under the memory tab of cpu-z

Waiting to see how your temps are with the rs240 kit. I'm hoping to get a fx 8350 with my tax refund so long as all goes as planed with it.

You should post up a cinebench score as well if you don't mind.
 
I've been MIA for a bit- working on getting the hang of the 8350. Had to switch back over to the 965 just long enough for an OC competition- I think that I am happy with the CPU and NB clocks I squeezed out of this one. 😀

Hey guys

I did my first overclock yesterday with my 1 month old 1045T. I overclocked it to 3.0ghz on the stock cooler with my asrock N68C-s UCC and on max load it runs at 44 degrees. (Planning to by a Cooler Master 212) However i would like to know if i could oc the 1045T to 3.4ghz with my current mobo.

Only you can tell us that, go slow, small steps make up every long journey,
some chips love being clocked, others won't put up with much tweaking at all and some won't budge from stock, its all in the hands of chance
but the more research you do on your parts, the better equipped you are to find the best way to get every last MHz out of your chip
check out the black edition guide up top as well as other guides online, and by the time you buy that 212 you should be well ready to start pushing it

Ok thanks, but based on what you said, I gather that I can basically overclock until the limit of the cpu temp once i get the 212, and nothing will happen to my mobo.? I will definitely not be passing 3.5Ghz
 



temperature headroom is good.
44c is pretty cool for that CPU
dont want to go higher than 61c and try to stay under 55c if you can
 
Hi guys.


Sorry, job keep me busy...more that I want. Even now that I'm in the blue side, 3770K, I always have an special love for AMD because the performance under extreme overclock.

For now, I'm working more in 3D overclock, in other terms, GPU overclock where we have to use Intel or Intel...AMD don't have room there BUT I have in my desk a little FX-8350 waiting for a motherboard and some LN2 for fun...
