I want to upgrade my pc.
Below are my specs :
Amd phenom 2 x2 550
Integrated graphics
4 gb ram
500gb hdd
Now I will buy 4gb ram for sure, I just want to know if my processor will hold back the graphics card or it wont matter much.
I want to buy a 1tb hard disk because I want more storage, else ill have to buy new cpu. Any other graphics card suggestions are welcome
Please suggest. Thanks

It will bottleneck a 1050ti, but I am not sure about a 750ti. I would recommend upgrading the cpu, mobo, and ram before buying another gpu. You will see much greater performance gains that way. Save up for a while to buy a 1050ti on top of that.

Why is there a need to upgrade the motherboard?

if your only into light online games like csgo and dota , lol, moba, then a 750 ti should power them fine under low to medium settings , the cpu rig will not fully utilize the gpu but you wouldnt really notice that in these e sports title anyways at those settings, for heavy triple a titles a full upgrade is recommended before you get a gtx 1050ti

I am so sorry, I accidentally downvoted your solution. You are very helpful. Sorry again.

I will mostly play csgo but I want a strong above 60 fps with very high settings, maybe I'll upgrade my whole pc. Gosh! didn't know it would be that hard to upgrade a PC. Thanks anyway.
