Yeah, that seems reasonable. I mean, I have no idea how much lower than 1.25V mine can go (I didn't try) or whether it can OC at all (besides NB) at 1.25V, and that is with a PII 940. So, with a little newer chip that sounds about right.

Awww shucks,,, im embarrased now....

Oh come on, you've thrown boomberangs before... some just came back this time :)

He is trying to get his post count up ...

Like we listen to any of the ancient posters ... those ol codgers are mostly sleeping.

That 4.1 Ghz PII ... stable on air jd posted the link for looks like an awesome bit of silicon.

Hope they don't end up fast food ... dead from electromigration in a few months.

Lets wait and see if any have short lives first.

If not ... I'm getting one.

Baa ... my posts are either an attempt at humour or a low level help response to newbies.

Or the odd bit of flame bait.

Or a rant.

Nothing honorary bout me.

I prolly should delete this account and work on a new persona.

This one is getting boring.

That's a thought.

Changing the topic (in order to keep this going) what's going on with the latest Phenom 2 triples eh??

Can't call those babies triple cripples anymore ... jeez.

Ol AMD might not be making much of a premium but they must be flogging off heaps of these ... those bundles look good.

I imagine quite a few will end up in office PC's.

Better than the E4 series cr@p office machines we have at work - a core2 running at 1.8 ghz is very frustrating to run an EIS system and Word and Excell, as well as the e-mail.

I get so used to running heaps of stuff on two screens at home is is damned painful trying it at work with one of those.

I am sure it posts a great super pi ... just doesn't like more than two apps running at once.

I imagine the tripples with a higher clock speed will be quite smooth ... and cheaper.

uncle its not looking good ...
