would like to know if i bought AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition,would it fit my m4a78lt-m motherboard.

It looks like it should, just make sure you have the latest BIOS.

Fit yes, but run is another matter. Looks like it should work just fine so long as you have the right BIOS.

Thank you,it does states on the asus website that it is compatible,i guess once its all up and running i should do a bios update,just wanted a second opinion.
