It's official.. 1 Ghz for under 200 bucks. Way to go AMD, and extra props for beating Intel's upcoming price reduction to the punch. 😉 <sorry, had to say it>

lol those prices are insane. Good for them tho they were the underdog and not no more. I am still using an intel system but as soon as the ddr comes out I will def go with AMD.

Here in Holland the cpu 1000mhz costs close to 500$ and the prices are dropping..

Hey Cool, those apparent price cuts by AMD!
But Multimanisback, I don't know where you buy'd your AMD 1Ghz in Holland, but I'd pay less than $500: I'd pay 868 guilders, being only $336... Check www.eynstein.nl for instance (non-commercial pointer)

last week it was $279 with free shipping.
