Good morning guys & gals

I feel like smacking myself in the head for purchasing a card that's way slower than my old
AMD 6870 HD, well as i posted a while back about my nightmare purchasing the AMD 7750 HD 2GB, but in my situation i was in need for a video card asap because my slowly dying AMD 6870 HD 1GB, was pretty much on it's last legs... So i know it's probably too late to return the card to amazon, but wouldn't plan on doing so until i purchase another card instead, most likely the choice will be a AMD R9 270 2GB 256-bit seems like a pretty good graphics card, only thing is that i am very low on cash, and thinking about risk buying a used card.. [from amazon] has anyone had any success purchasing used computer hardware such as graphic cards etc?

One more question, i am getting back into DayZ mod, i that i probably won't be able to play the game at full settings but i really don't care about graphics and all just want something stable.

I can't believe you got your CPu to 4.9ghz oc! And your PC specs looks great, your GPU is the weak link

Most of my first PC was built from used parts, The RAM, GPU and Hard drive. I got them all for a hell of a price too! But if you are really looking to buy used cards I would strongly recommend buying from Ebay.com, look around for a while (Once you start you wont be able to stop) and you'll certainly find something eye catching

Getting a 270 should depend on what res your playing games at too

I bought many second hand GPU's and had luck with it for now, if you can see it working and test it during games then you should be fine as long as the temperatures at full load are bellow 70°C. Also going for ones of better brand like Asus is also suggested as they have better cooling solution and build quality so lower chance of malfunction. You should also get one that is still in warranty.

Hi thanks alot for getting back with me bud! Sorry I knew something I forgot to mention my native screen resolution is @ 1600x900 maybe I'm just stuck on seeing everyone else on 1920x1080 and seeing those guys who have lower frame rates due to video cards etc. sometimes Ill lower the screen resolution by a notch at 1400x900 if I remember correctly.. Also I've under clocked my processor to 3.8ghz as the years went on and dust played a big role of problems by I must admit that was one helluva OC run I had especially that it's ran on air
