Im having driver problems with the new card, as is everyone, but my problem is different.

Ive recently upgraded from a nvidia 620 to the new amd r9 390. ive gotten the drivers everyone says to use and everything is set at 1080p 60hz for my hdtv monitor.
But It looks blurry.... and i cant seem to find out why. im using a hdmi cable as the connector. When i first started up the computer everthing looked fine. its only after i install the driver does the screen go blurry so it has to be the driver or somthing related to it.

But the other driver aparently crashes and causes blue screens and stuff... so i dont know what to do. Any help? Any ideas? would really like to fix this problem.

When i go into ccc and change the pixel format to "pixel format pc standard (full rgb)" its not blurry.... but definitively changed color a bit. and is weird. any knowledge on this?

Solution
I would first

>Control Panel>Unistall>Check if you have any NVIDIA software>if so unistall them
if you dont

>USE DDU to unistall drivers and then reinstall drivers 15.7 amd

msg me back to tell me what happens please 😀

Sorry for the late reply, but i did all that before doing the driver install. As i said i kinda fixed the problem by changing pixel format. But in some games i can tell its not the right resolution. this may be hard to explain, but in civ 5 i can tell its not in 1080p even though it set to it. but when i tab out and its still in the background of a smaller window. it changes to the correct res.( civ 5 being in full screen, when you tab it still stays in the background less you tab to desktop specifically)

As i wrote that i realised i should try running the game in windowd mode and see if its better?
conclusion is that it works. putting it in window mode plays it at the correct res.

I would still like to find out whats causing the blur. As not all games have a border less window mode. so a bit in some games will go off the bottom of the screen
