They showed this: https://www.google.com/search?q=amd+rx+460&client=opera&hs=KDF&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwic55KCs7fOAhUK9WMKHeC8AR0Q_AUICygE&biw=1920&bih=911#imgrc=91UEWItqGhBjdM%3A

Very interesting I wonder if that is a real VGA card or a mock-up. I do see the AMD logo on the card it self. Didn't the article state the AMD didn't build a reference 460 and relied on the board partners for the 460s for the review?

Good review, however I have to wonder why you like everyone else reviewed the 4 gb PCIe power model. why not the board power only model with 2gb? a true replacement for the 750 TI is the card that's faster and is within the same power requirements.

I believe if this card is sold in a single slot or low profile design I may pick it up.

They probably couldn't find a 2GB version, they seem to be like baby pigeons we know they exist we've just never seen one.

AMD seems to be overvolting their Polaris offerings, I've not seen a review where a card could not be undervolted anywhere between 10 and 20 %. Also seems there's a new mining trend going on which is eating stock and inflating prices. :/

This is true, but depending on game, the 460 gets 30% - 100% higher framerates than the 750 Ti. That's substantial.

The XFX one on XFX's website also doesn't show a 6-pin, yet it has it.

I was talking to a Sapphire Rep and he said Sapphire had no plans for Rx 460 w/o a PCI-E power connector. Despite the card only using 75w or less. I told him that was a disappointment since many were expecting one.

The cards don't use 75W or less, though. They are 84W while gaming or 100W in Furmark.

They only draw that much at certain clocks. Slow it down a little and you can easily clear the sub-75W mark. Judging by AMD's first announcement, this was the plan. Something tells me when they saw the NVidia's cards released, they decided the 460 needed more performance. At that point the only way was to bump the clock rate.

Don't assume what you see now in the market is all the mfrs have to offer. When he did his presentation he had couple models with peak power draw at 75w. So I asked him about a model that would compete with the Nvidia 750 Ti. Yes, I know they do have many models that drawing more then 75w, I was surprised they didn't think that was a segment worth going after.

There seems to be a lot of discussion about such a model existing I thought all would like to know what Sapphire said.
