[SOLVED] AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT vs Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080

I was making a gaming build. Which one should I buy?
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT or Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080
Is Ray Tracing really worth the extra price?
I was considering AMD because Freesync Monitors are really cheap as compared to GSync. And do I have to take and AMD processor with an AMD Graphics Card?
Please Help!

Get the RX 5700 XT, any of the custom AIB models. If you don't want or have plans to play RAY TRACING games, then it won't be worth spending some extra cash on the RTX GPU.

Ray tracing is still in it's "infancy" stage. The performance drop is not worth the graphical fidelity.

NO. That doesn't matter whether you buy AMD or an NVIDIA GPU, you can easily pair any card with any said processor. Just make sure to use a compatible PSU to power up any of these 2 GPUs.

Also, you are getting a Freesync Monitor, so better buy that AMD NAVI GPU.

RTX2080 is faster and much more expensive than a 5700XT. I'm not sure that's a fair comparison.
