Info AMD RX 6400 was not detected in Device Manager - - - fixed.

Ok, so I was having issues with my pc not detecting my RX 6400 and was updating the gpu drivers, BIOS, and even windows. Nothing seemed to help, until I updated my PC's drivers (ASUS M11AD PC) from the ASUS site, and also restoring my BIOS settings to defaults. I'm guessing the later is what fixed it, however it kind of blows that I had to figure this out by myself. I just thought I'd share just in case someone else had the same issue. Hopefully this forum isn't too hard to find.

BIOS has nothing to do with drivers so updating it was deal breaker for drivers and windows to see it and install drivers. Updating Chipset drivers first because of new BIOS should have been first step as it contains drivers for PCIe bus. Other potential problem could be BIOS mode, most new gen GPUs need UEFI or at least CSM mode to be recognized.

Sorry, the issue I was having was because of a connection issue on the motherboard. I unplugged and plugged back in the fan connection on the gpu and the gpu started getting detected again.
