[SOLVED] AMD Ryzen 5 5600x with MSI MPG B550 Gaming plus

I bought a ryzen 5 5600x and a msi b550 gaming plus to go with it but mny question is will I be good to install both into my system at the same time or do I need to do a BIOS update prior to installing the 5600x and if so how do i go about it?

That motherboard has the usb bios flashback feature that lets you update the bios without a cpu installed.
You likely will have to use it unless you get really lucky and get a board fresh off the line with the Ryzen 5000 support bios already on it.
