Hey i just overclocked my Ryzen 1600x to 4.1 Ghz with 1,41250V , i just
read that 1.45 is max. but better is not upper then 1.4V , so i run the
stress test over 1H and its was fine dont crashed or some other problems ,
the highest temp was 64°C , so its okay for the cpu or do i damage the Cpu or
should i go back to 4.0Ghz and 1.4 V ?

Overclocked with Asus b350 plus 8gb ram , Be Quiet Pure Rock

Sorry for my bad english ^^

Get some additional temperature readings.... my favourite tools are Core Temp and HWiNFO64. Both of these tools are free.

I use OCCT to run the stress test, but I do not trust the temperature readings within that tool.

Whst stresstests are you using? I never rely on a single one for stability. Also, AMD supposedly stated 1.35v is max 24/7 voltage before degradation lowers useful lifespan. That said, I think 1.4v is still safe that I would be comforable with long term if temps are in check.

At 4.1 GHz you are at the very edge of the chip's capability and, at 1.4V+ you are at the edge of shortening the chip's life. I would consider two things:

( 1 ) is your temperature reading accurate? I tried different tools and got different answers. Make sure that your CPU is really only 64 degrees.

( 2 ) do you actually need the CPU to run that fast? Is there something you're trying to run that requires you to wring the last bit of horsepower from your chip? Would the software you are running be just as happy with a slightly lower overclock (that allows you to bring down the voltage and temperature)?
